How much does it cost to print?

Printing costs vary depending on the printer and binding option you choose. As a guide, most South African print shops charge between R70 and R120 for a professionally printed and bound copy of the full journal.

What instructions should I give a printer?

Simply provide the PDF and request:

• A4 size printing
• Double-sided printing
• Colour cover
• Black-and-white interior pages
• Spiral / comb binding or stapling (optional)

This will provide a practical, easy-to-use journal that can be updated as your information changes.

If you are unsure, most print shops will be able to recommend the most suitable binding option. There is a "Read Me" file contained in the download which includes a guide for printing your document or journal.

Can I update my information later?

Yes. One of the benefits of a printable PDF is that you can print updated pages whenever your information changes.

Can my spouse and I both use the journal?

Absolutely. Because the journal is supplied as a printable PDF, you may print a copy for each spouse within your household. Many couples find it helpful for each partner to complete their own journal so that their personal information, wishes, and important details are recorded separately and clearly for their loved ones.

Is this journal suitable for South African families?

Yes. The journal has been designed specifically for South African households and includes prompts, resources, and information relevant to the local context.

Do I need to complete everything at once?

Not at all. You can work through the journal at your own pace, completing the sections that are most relevant to you and returning to others later.

Can I start with a single section instead of purchasing the full journal?

Yes. Individual sections are available separately if you would prefer to start small. You can always purchase the full journal later if you’d like everything in one place.

Is my information stored online?

No. Your completed journal remains entirely under your control. Once downloaded and printed, you decide where it is stored and who has access to it.

What happens if I lose my downloaded files?

You will receive an email containing a download link that you can save for future access. If you experience any difficulties accessing your files, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.
